Outreach Center
MHA’s Outreach Center opened it’s doors in September 2022 as a welcoming, warm, safe place for anyone in need of support, advocacy and self-empowerment on their mental wellness journey. This free and non-clinical center opened in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as mental health challenges are at critical mass, and services are in short supply.
The Outreach Center space provides an opportunity to build friendships with others who may be living in a similar situation and experiencing similar barriers. Services at the Center include walk-in peer counseling and support groups and activities. It is also open to the community for educational programming and training and is available for special events. It is easy accessible and centrally located on the Ithaca Commons.
Check out our calendar for Outreach Center hours and a current schedule of groups and activities. Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
