Forensic Peer Services

Forensic Peers have had personal lived experience, and/or specialized training with the criminal justice system. The Forensic Peer works with individuals who are incarcerated, on probation or dealing with court systems. They provide programming onsite at the Ithaca Recovery and Wellness Court, The Tompkins County Jail and the Tompkins County Probation Department. They are also available for appointments at our offices. The Forensic Peer provides support, including help with developing personal recovery plans, assistance to community services to facilitate access to entitlements, community based behavioral health supports and other services.
